Complete guide to setting up and using Alqulol Bots

Ticket Bot Setup

Step 1: Invite the Bot

Click the invite link and select your server. Ensure the bot has Administrator permissions for full functionality.

Step 2: Initial Setup

Run the setup command in your server:

/setup

This will create the necessary channels and categories for the ticket system.

Step 3: Configure Categories

The bot will automatically create these categories:

  • Tickets - Active support tickets
  • Closed Tickets - Closed but not deleted tickets

Creating a Ticket

  1. Users click the ticket button in the ticket channel
  2. Select a category from the dropdown menu
  3. A private ticket channel is created automatically
  4. Only the user and staff can see the ticket

Staff Commands

/rename [member] [new_name]

Rename a ticket channel to better organize tickets

/teamapply [member]

Send team application form to a member or display it

Ticket Actions

  • Claim: Assign yourself to handle the ticket
  • Unclaim: Release the ticket for others to handle
  • Close: Move ticket to closed category (can be reopened)
  • Delete: Permanently delete the ticket with reason

Troubleshooting

Bot Not Responding

  • Ensure the bot has Administrator permissions
  • Check if the bot is online (green status)
  • Try re-inviting the bot with the correct permissions

Tickets Not Creating

  • Run /setup again to recreate channels
  • Ensure bot has permission to create channels
  • Check that the ticket category isn't full (50 channels max)

Security Features Not Working

  • Verify bot role is above member roles
  • Ensure Administrator permission is granted
  • Contact support for configuration assistance
